Each summer Mackie welcomes promising students from top-ranked engineering schools and universities to join its class of summer interns. The Mackie Intern Program nurtures the curiosity of its interns and provides a summer of engaging engineering experiences to help them begin the transition from academics to their profession. Weekly visits to different job sites provide front-row access to multidisciplinary engineering projects and gives interns a unique opportunity to explore career interests. Interns also train on the latest available industry software and work with engineer mentors who model professional skills, networking know-how, and career success in the civil engineering field.
