Job Description

Bryan Builders LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the Eastern United States. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision, overseeing all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and deliver high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and milestones, and adjusting as necessary to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or potential obstacles that may affect project progress or quality.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and completing commercial construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and coordinate subcontractors and project teams.
  • Deep understanding of construction safety regulations and the ability to enforce and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Familiarity with construction management software Procore, Go Forms and tools.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
