**Job Title: Travel Counselor - Part Time**

**Location:** Remote (Must reside in Massachusetts)

We are a dynamic tour operator specializing in international small group tours for older Americans. **Position Overview:**
As a Travel Counselor, you will be an integral part of our Reservations and Customer Service team. This role requires a friendly and articulate individual who is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You will assist our mature guests in planning their travel experiences, ensuring they receive personalized attention and care throughout their journey.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide professional assistance to incoming customer calls related to service and sales.
- Maintain a high standard of telephone etiquette on all calls.
- Conduct outbound calls as necessary, including follow-ups and requested call-backs.
- Update and maintain reservation information in line with company guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and quality assurance.
- Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and create a positive work environment.
- Engage in discussions with team members to enhance understanding of departmental processes and policies.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with mature guests in a courteous, calm, and empathetic manner.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- International travel experience (outside of North America) is preferred.
- Experience in a call or contact center is a plus.
