Background:

S3 Capital is the real estate debt platform of Spruce Capital Partners with an active portfolio of 170+ loans totaling over $3 billion in assets under management. The firm specializes in providing real estate bridge and construction financing secured by recorded first liens in major markets throughout the US. Spruce Capital Partners is a privately held, New York-based real estate investment firm that owns, develops, and invests in real estate and real estate credit opportunities.

Position Overview:

S3 Capital Partners seeks to hire a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join the company as a remote Investment and Construction Analyst in Miami. The Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to support the company's loan closings, underwriting, asset management, financial analysis/reporting functions, and construction management for S3's south Florida portfolio. In this capacity, the new hire will work remotely from Miami with the originations, credit teams and senior management back in New York to gain an in-depth understanding of the business, monitor active job-sites, and evaluating potential new investments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform due diligence for new investment opportunities 

• Coordinate the closings for new loans 

• Coordinate underwriting process for potential new investments

• Perform site visits for S3's active south Florida construction sites

• Work with Spanish speaking brokers and developers to sources new opportunities

• Prepare Investment Committee memorandums 

• Develop and maintain financial models

• Assist with investor relations 

• Assist in asset management of existing portfolio 

• Assist with marketing presentations and other investor relations functions

Requirements:

• MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH

• Proficient with Excel 

• Proficiency/familiarity with Microsoft Power BI 

• Strong math and problem-solving skills 

• Sound understanding of real estate finance 

• Driven / self-starter 

• Attention to detail 

• Strong desire to learn
