About the role:

Title: Senior UX Designer

6 month contract

Onsite in Irving, Texas

*W2 candidates only (USC or GC)

As a Senior UX Designer for 7-Eleven, you’ll create intuitive, engaging digital experiences that enhance how customers shop and interact with our products. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and fellow designers to deliver innovative retail solutions that balance business goals with user needs. Your designs will directly influence products millions of customers use every day.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for the user at every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions solve real customer problems.
• Design end-to-end experiences from flows and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes that are clear, usable, and visually engaging.
• Partner with product managers to strategically solve complex challenges and prioritize features that have the biggest customer impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and research teams to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
• Contribute to a consistent visual and interaction design language across products and channels.
• Plan and participate in user testing sessions , turning insights into actionable design improvements.
• Lead or participate in design workshops to align teams, spark ideas, and refine solutions.
• Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Must Haves:

• Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and development handoff best practices.
• Excellent communication skills written, verbal and visual.
• Strong time management skills, able to balance multiple priorities without losing quality.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and how UX integrates into iterative development.
• A portfolio showcasing interaction design and prototyping work, with case studies that illustrate your design process and outcomes
• A deep commitment to understanding and integrating user needs into every facet of the design process, driven by empathy and a thorough comprehension of customer interactions.
• A proven track record of effective teamwork, with the ability to manage and thrive in multidisciplinary settings.
