Role Overview

JRG Partners is seeking a seasoned Executive Search Consultant to lead retained and high-impact executive searches across our core practice areas, including Manufacturing Executives, AI Business & Digital Transformation, Industrial Industry Executives, PE Backed Portfolio Companies, Legal, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Food Tech, Med Tech, Medical Device, Aerospace, and other complex, Professional Advanced regulated sectors. You also must be a proficient master of the arts of strategic relationship building and high level business development with expanding clients and new client acquisition. We prefer tech savvy individuals who are highly motivated and interested in learning how to utilize AI in their daily weekly recruitment workflows at the highest level which is what we train at JRG Partners.

This role is designed for a proven executive search professional —not a transactional recruiter—who operates with senior-level judgment, client credibility, and ownership mentality. You will manage full-cycle retained searches, serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite clients, and represent top-tier executive talent globally.

Core Responsibilities

Retained Executive Search Leadership

  • Lead full-lifecycle retained executive searches , from role intake and search strategy through offer negotiation, onboarding, and post-placement follow-through
  • Serve as the primary advisor to client leadership teams, Boards, and private equity stakeholders
  • Translate business strategy, operational challenges, and growth objectives into precise executive profiles

Client Advisory & Relationship Ownership

  • Partner directly with clients to define success metrics, compensation frameworks, and leadership expectations
  • Provide market intelligence , competitive talent mapping, and real-time compensation benchmarking
  • Build long-term, trusted client relationships that drive repeat retained engagements and account expansion

Candidate Identification & Representation

  • Proactively identify and engage passive, off-market executive talent through targeted research and direct outreach
  • Conduct rigorous executive-level assessments focused on leadership impact, track record, and cultural alignment
  • Professionally represent candidates through confidential search processes with discretion and credibility

Search Execution Excellence

  • Develop and execute structured search strategies, including source company mapping and global outreach
  • Deliver interview-ready executive slates within defined timelines
  • Maintain clear communication, reporting, and accountability throughout each search

Internal Leadership & Collaboration

  • Contribute to best practices, process refinement, and firm-wide search excellence
  • Mentor junior team members where appropriate and model executive-level professionalism
  • Uphold JRG Partners’ standards of integrity, accountability, and client service

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of retained or engaged executive search experience (executive-level only)
  • Demonstrated success closing and delivering retained searches
  • Experience recruiting senior leadership roles (Director, VP, C-suite)
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and Boards
  • Proven ability to manage complex searches across competitive, talent-constrained markets
  • High-level written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • Proficiency with ATS, CRM systems, and modern sourcing platforms

Preferred Experience

  • Industry specialization in Manufacturing, Industrial, Legal, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Medical Device, Aerospace, or related sectors
  • Experience working with private equity–backed or founder-led organizations
  • History of account expansion and long-term client partnership development
