Job Description

Position Summary:

Our client, a rapidly growing commercial and industrial real estate company in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a few highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Analysts and Senior Real Estate Analysts to join their dynamic team. As part of a fast-paced, high-growth company, the Real Estate Analysts will play a pivotal role in supporting the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously. This role requires a proactive attitude to ensure robust due diligence and operational and financial compliance are maintained throughout all stages of the transaction lifecycle.

The Real Estate Analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to gather, organize, and assess due diligence documentation, highlight and mitigate risks, and ensure seamless execution of deals. The role also offers the opportunity to develop expertise in commercial and industrial real estate processes while directly contributing to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage a high volume of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities.
  • Obtain, compile, and organize due diligence materials, ensuring operational and financial compliance throughout the transaction process.
  • Act as a key point of contact for due diligence efforts, collaborating with the Investment and Capital Markets teams to evaluate risks and craft solutions.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and communicate operational or financial risks to the transaction team, while recommending practical solutions to address identified challenges.
  • Partner with internal departments (legal, financial, and operational) to ensure all aspects of the transaction align with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Engage with external vendors to facilitate inspections (e.g., surveys, property condition assessments, environmental reports).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions to become a subject matter expert.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate or financial analysis. A commercial real estate background and familiarity with transaction documentation are highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of real estate due diligence processes and operational or financial compliance requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
