Role Requirements:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Proofreader with a strong background in the insurance, legal, or finance sectors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of AP and Chicago Manual of Style, as well as a passion for ensuring clarity and accuracy in all written and digital materials. This role requires a solid understanding of various document types, including long-form and short-form content, presentations, white papers, advertising, press releases, and more.
Primary Responsibilities

This role requires a solid understanding of various document types, including long-form and short-form content, presentations, white papers, advertising, press releases, and more.
• Review and proofread a variety of documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in language and formatting.
• Collaborate with writers and content creators to enhance the quality of written materials.
• Ensure adherence to company style guides and industry standards.
• Provide feedback on content structure and clarity to improve overall quality.
• Utilize digital platforms to manage and track proofreading tasks efficiently. Workfront.
• Familiarity with Workfront is a plus, as it may be used for project management and workflow tracking.
Required Job Skills:
• Proven experience as a Proofreader, preferably in the insurance, legal, or finance industries.
• Strong understanding of presentations, white papers, and long-form documents.
• Comfortable working with a workflow tool such as Adobe Workfront or Asana.
• Experience working with digital platforms for content management.
• Detail-oriented with excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Must be able to use Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Workfront
• Minimum 1 to 4 years of previous work experience as a Proofreader. As a Proofreader in a previous Financial Services industry.
