Who We Are:

Agency 5 Media is the creative and media agency for the makers of 5-hour ENERGY® and other great brands. We are looking for a junior level Art Director to join our growing team.

As an Art Director, you’ll be hands-on during the entire creative process from brainstorming concepts to pitching ideas and designing social content and packaging. You’ll work with other members of the Agency 5 team to bring the ideas to life.

What You’ll Do:

• Create engaging posts and ads with social-first thinking (IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines across packaging, social and campaigns
• Stay current on social trends and look for opportunities to incorporate them into your art direction
• Ongoing development of new ideas, creative concepts, and designs – Turn concepts into deliverables!
• Present ideas and executions to the team
• Wear multiple hats: we’re a collaborative and supportive team, so you’ll have the opportunity to play multiple roles throughout concepting and execution phases
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of art direction or design experience in an agency or related field (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or packaging)
• Packaging design experience required
• Adobe Create Suite expertise – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Must be a self-starter, with a record of working collaboratively, quickly and with minimal oversight
• An understanding of what works — and doesn't — in social media
• The ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
• Portfolio (we wanna see how you think or approach assignments, even if it was never produced)
• Figma proficiency for comps, UI layouts, and collaboration
