Position Description

We are looking for an adaptable, driven HR Coordinator who desires to be part of a dynamic team with company values centered around teamwork, ownership, and professionalism.

Essential Duties:

  1. Perform routine tasks required to administer human resource programs.
  2. Respond to and assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  3. Liaison with other departments or functions (payroll, finance, BU admins/coordinators, etc.).
  4. Support the recruitment/hiring process by pre-screening candidates, preparing offer letters, performing background checks, etc.
  5. Manage MKI’s Visitor Management Process & System (VMS)
  6. Manage office supplies and inventory
  7. Provide general support to visitors
  8. Provide new hire processing for safety – validate training certifications, schedule CPR, create training cards, upload safety information to software systems
  9. Purchase safety equipment resources – PPE, OSHA posters, first aid items, etc.
  10. Maintain data records for In-House and 3 rd Party training and systems

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  1. Solid understanding of HR fundamentals including onboarding, performance management, and compliance
  2. Knowledge of HR systems and databases for personnel recordkeeping and reporting
  3. Comfortable navigating SharePoint, visitor management software, and safety documentation tools
  4. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities across HR and operational functions
  5. Strong written and verbal communication for interacting with staff, candidates, and vendors
  6. Skilled in managing confidential information with discretion and integrity
  7. 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, office coordination, or safety administration
  8. Hands-on experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  9. Prior involvement in safety program support, equipment procurement, or training logistics preferred

Education:

  1. A High School Diploma required with an associate’s degree in a related field of study preferred; specific training and education focused on business administration and administrative services.
  2. Bilingual is a plus
