Hospitalist – Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group
Location: Resurrection Medical Center, Chicago, IL

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Hospitalist to join our inpatient team at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established and collaborative hospitalist program within a respected community hospital.
The physician will take admissions from the ED, consults from specialists and transfers from other local Prime hospitals.
We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center and the system hospital for high risk PCI as well as Cardiothoracic surgery.
You will work a 7 on 7 off schedule, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM.
You respond to RRT and Code blue
There is an in house anesthesiologist for intubations and the eicu physician is accessible.
No procedures expected.
You admit on average 8 patients a night (the number of admits may vary from call days to non call days).
There are an average of 2 RRT/Code blue per night.
You cross cover on the hospitalist service patients (approximately 54 - 58 patients).
1. Board certified or Board eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
2. Current Illinois Medical License - MD or DO (or in process)
3. Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
4. Clean background
5. Team Player
6. ACLS certification is required
7. Procedures not required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $345,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
