CDL Ready Mix Truck Drivers – Salt Lake City, UT (On-site)

📍 Location: Salt Lake City, UT

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site

We’re working with a leading construction materials producer to hire multiple CDL Ready Mix Truck Drivers for their operations in Salt Lake City, Utah . This is a great opportunity for safe, reliable, and hardworking drivers who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career with a respected company.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating Ready Mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites while maintaining strong customer service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Ready Mix truck in a safe and efficient manner, following DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment daily.
  • Deliver concrete to job sites as scheduled, ensuring loads meet quality and timing requirements.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, plant operators, and job site personnel.
  • Assist with cleanup of plant areas, chutes, and truck components as needed.
  • Accurately complete delivery tickets and timekeeping records.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Work in varying weather and road conditions.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
  • Clean driving record — no major violations in the past 3 years.
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience ; Ready Mix or construction materials experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check .
  • Strong safety awareness and understanding of DOT compliance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Capable of performing physical work, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality and safety.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of Ready Mix delivery procedures and concrete handling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to proper documentation and maintenance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and job site conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude to recognize and report truck or equipment issues.
