Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA

Hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 days remote

Salary Range: $122,900 – $140,000 annually DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, partnering with leadership to forecast hiring needs and implement scalable, inclusive hiring strategies.
  • Innovate talent acquisition processes using current trends, tools, and technology to enhance candidate engagement and experience.
  • Build diverse talent pipelines and foster strong relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, and professional networks.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws, onboarding standards, and internal policies.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to inform strategies and continuously improve results.
  • Manage and develop the recruitment team, providing mentorship and promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Promote internal mobility and succession planning in partnership with HR and department leaders.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, delivering insights, tools, and support throughout the recruiting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • 8–10 years of progressive recruiting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting tools, and digital HR platforms (Dayforce preferred).
  • Proven experience in building scalable recruitment strategies and implementing inclusive hiring practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification preferred.
