Overview

A dynamic and detail-oriented Systems Administrator is needed to manage, configure, and support internal and external networks, ensuring optimal system performance and security. This role involves maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing security protocols. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, FDA, and SOX regulations while coordinating with external auditors for ITGC/SOX testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement IT hardware and software system upgrades for both physical and cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce policies related to IT, cybersecurity, FDA, and SOX compliance.
• Work with external auditors to ensure ITGC/SOX compliance.
• Configure, install, and maintain local area network (LAN) hardware, software, and telecommunications systems, including personal computers, servers, routers, and switches.
• Implement and enforce policies related to network hardware/software security, support, and data backup.
• Manage user access, security configurations, and network directories.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
• Oversee vendor contracts and coordinate activities related to hardware, software, telecommunications, and IT support.
• Work cross-functionally to address and resolve IT-related issues in software, hardware, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience in IT administration.
• Experience in FDA or SOX-regulated environments.
• Some travel may be required.
