Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Master Planner

Location: Northridge, CA (100% On-Site)

12-Month W2 Assignment (high potential to extend / convert)

Salary Range: $55-60/HR

Role Summary:

We are partnering with a leading global drug delivery CDMO and they are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Master Planner to lead strategic planning and execution across inventory, production, and demand forecasting. This role ensures effective alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives through the application of APICS principles and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic supply chain planning using APICS methodologies (Demand Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Optimization).
  • Lead long-term demand and supply planning using data-driven forecasts, market trends, and business inputs.
  • Implement capacity planning strategies to ensure resource alignment with production requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels to support production while reducing excess and improving turnover.
  • Drive S&OP process to synchronize forecasts across departments and support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure supply meets forecasted demand.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean and APICS principles to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Leverage ERP and planning systems to generate reports, analyze data, and support operational decisions.
  • Monitor and report KPIs such as demand accuracy, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and demand planning tools.
  • Deep knowledge of APICS principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience using Quality Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing tools.
