Job Description:
Pride Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 52-week contract job opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
This position is responsible to ensure that all surgical instrument sets and equipment are properly maintained. Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in Instrument Tracking System software. Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports. Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in procedure manual. Functions as a team member, supporting department activities providing for optimal instrument and equipment processing. Functions as a patient advocate. Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.

Required Skills & Experience:

-Good computer knowledge, good working knowledge of Power Point and SPM.
-Good interpersonal skills
-Good verbal and written communications skills (English).
-Self Motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Technician or equivalent education/work experience.
Required Education:
-High school graduate or GED.
-Certified Central Service Technician certification required.
Additional Information:
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 22:45 - 07:15
Pay Range: $30/Hr. - $33/Hr.
Start:07/23/2025
