Job Description

Special Projects and Grants Manager

The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative to join its Community Impact Team.

Essential Duties and Qualifications:

  • Lead a diverse team of qualified individuals implementing special projects and grants for the organization.
  • Coordinate developing and implementing special projects and new initiatives, including defining scope, priority, timetable, and deliverables. 
  • Project and plan management, including developing and tracking detailed project plans/controls, schedules, team performance, and budget.
  • Monitor team performance and compliance in accordance with grant and contract deliverables and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports related to projects and initiatives according to grant and contract deliverables. Work in coordination with appropriate teams to complete internal monitoring.
  • Research new grant and special project opportunities related to the organization's growth, performance, and sustainability of services.
  • Write grant proposals and progress reports related to projects, as required.
  • Manage the organization’s procurement of goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

  Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Five or more years of documented experience in project development and management or program administration with a demonstrated track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $21-$25 hourly
