Insight Global is looking for Special Education Teachers in Shelbyville, KY! Below is more information of what we're looking for in a candidate along with the day-to-day responsibilities in the role:

LBD (Learning and Behavior Disorders) Special Education Teachers (4 openings)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) or a Master's degree in Special Education

MSD (Moderate and Severe Disorders) Special Education Teacher (2 openings)

  • Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) or a Master's degree in Special Education

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • As a Special Education Teacher in Shelbyville, KY, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with Kentucky state standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Assess student progress through various assignments and tests.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and individualized student support.
  • Adapt and create instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Dedicate time beyond classroom hours for planning, meetings, and professional growth

*** Compensation : starting at $43k (higher pay is dependent on skillset and years of experience)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
