Position Summary

Freddie Mac's Enterprise Technology division is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support the transformation of key applications supporting its Multifamily Finance business. This role focuses on the modernization of accounting platforms to streamline operations, enhance compliance, and elevate data transparency.

You will play a critical role in bridging business and technology, applying your expertise across systems analysis, data analytics, and Agile delivery to drive strategic solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support multiple Agile-based workstreams and tasks simultaneously.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate solution options based on scope, cost-efficiency, and complexity.
• Define user stories in Gherkin syntax and work closely with Product Owners, QA, and developers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• Assist in creating and validating test plans for system and UAT activities.
• Conduct SWOT, impact, and root-cause analyses to guide decision-making.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for systems and business use cases across the organization.
• Independently manage deliverables while guiding cross-functional teams.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in system analysis or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in: SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Dremio, Visual Studio, Beyond Compare.
• Familiarity with databases including DB2, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and domain knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of independent initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Finance and Mortgage industry—especially with Freddie Mac.
• Familiarity with Accounting Systems, Subledgers, and SOX-compliant environments.
• Experience with metadata tools (e.g., Collibra) and data lineage concepts.
• Certifications such as CSM, CBAP, PMP, CSPO, or advanced technical degrees.
