Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the Land Development Engineering team. This leadership role is responsible for managing department operations, project delivery, client relationships, staffing, and strategic growth initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of private development by delivering high-impact civil engineering solutions in a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee department operations, including staffing, scheduling, project budgeting, and administration
  • Lead private development projects with full accountability for scope, schedule, and profitability
  • Develop client proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and statements of work
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and drive new business opportunities
  • Promote a collaborative team culture and uphold company values across all project activities
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management for team members
  • Participate in project QA/QC processes and lead ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Stay current on industry tools, codes, and technologies, including Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and Bluebeam
  • Represent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years in a project management leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful land development projects
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Bluebeam, and project management tools such as MS Project
  • Oregon PE license in good standing with OSBEELS (nice to have)

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing project team

  • Establish and manage high-performance standards and employee relations
