Job Description

The Residential General Manager oversees daily hotel operations to achieve revenue and profit goals while upholding standards for guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. Responsibilities include providing leadership, training, and support to hotel staff, maintaining high-quality service, and ensuring a top-notch guest experience. Additionally, the manager will have access to a furnished apartment with all utilities covered.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Hotel General Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Revenue Management Department with market analysis and forecasts.
  • Support sales efforts and train front desk staff on selling techniques.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting by forecasting operating expenses and labor costs.
  • Manage costs based on business forecasts and adjust expenses to maintain profit margins.
  • Execute purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure guest and employee satisfaction through training and development programs.
  • Respond to guest complaints promptly and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain physical condition of the hotel according to quality control standards.
  • Possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Demonstrate effective communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • May need to lift or carry light objects.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Flexible with work hours/days and possess a valid driver's license.

General Requirements

· Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.

· Must have full knowledge of Hotel Management and Operations.

· Must have effective oral and written communication skills.

· Must have good analytical skills and decision-making ability.

· Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate.
