About the Opportunity:

Our client, a fast-growing and highly respected staffing firm, is seeking a driven and experienced IT Recruiting Manager to lead and expand their technical recruiting team in Virginia Beach, VA .

In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a small team of recruiters, managing the full recruitment lifecycle for contract and direct-hire IT roles.

You’ll also have the chance to continue billing and producing yourself—or grow into a more strategic, leadership-focused role depending on your strengths.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either a proven leader in IT staffing OR a top-performing recruiter ready to step into management with strong mentorship and support.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and mentor a team of IT recruiters, ensuring performance goals are met
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting for IT roles across a variety of verticals (development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.)
• Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and deliver high-quality staffing solutions
• Source, screen, and place candidates in both contract and direct-hire roles
• Maintain and grow relationships with both clients and candidates to build long-term success
• Play a key role in team strategy, workflow efficiency, and goal setting

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in IT staffing (agency side required)
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a team lead/management role
• A track record of success in full-desk or high-volume recruiting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Gov/cleared staffing experience is a plus but not required
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to help others grow
