Job Description

A recognized services compan in Connecticut is seeking a reliable and proactive Receptionist to support day-to-day operations and help maintain a well-organized, efficient office environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth functioning across administrative areas and supporting both internal teams and external visitors.

***On-site 5 days per week in Hartford CT***

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and manage all office visitors, clients, and interview candidates
  • Coordinate visitor logistics: parking, building access, security communication
  • Maintain visitor logs and manage parking validations
  • Answer the door for deliveries and manage incoming/outgoing mail
  • Monitor and reorder office and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Coordinate catering for events such as PI Planning and internal meetings
  • Support company culture and employee engagement through event assistance (e.g., Vibes events, fundraisers, food drives)
  • Work with vendors (UPS, vending machine suppliers, building maintenance)
  • Help coordinate office maintenance schedules and deliveries
  • Provide support for onboarding new employees and consultants
  • Assist with general clerical duties and redirect employee inquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Ensure the office and reception area remain clean, organized, and presentable
  • Liaise with custodial services and building management as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Computer savvy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Familiarity with office software/tools (e.g., hoteling systems like Robin, UPS online services)
  • Exceptional phone etiquette
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative

Desired Skills:

  • 2+ years of Administrative or Office Support experience
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
