Location: London/Hybrid

Salary: £31,000 – £36,000 basic per annum, based on experience

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

Responsibilities & Duties:

The core function of a Quality Assurance Tester is simple: ensuring that updates and new features in our system are thoroughly tested and meet both technical requirements and user expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing test plans for new features and updates to the Strengthscope® system

  • Performing manual regression and functional testing

  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and issues to the development team

  • Collaborating with developers, the Project Manager, and our Customer Experience team to clarify requirements and ensure quality

  • Maintaining and updating test documentation and test cases

  • Supporting internal and external information security processes to ensure GDPR compliance

  • Reviewing and contributing to UX improvements for all users

  • Acting as a system ambassador, sharing knowledge and answering internal queries.

Skills & Attributes:

If you have a mix of the following skills and attributes, you might be just who we’re looking for:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in a Quality Assurance/Tester role

  • Have a Quality Assurance certification (e.g., ISTQB)

  • Preferably, have experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

  • Have a passion for software testing and delivering great user experiences

  • Understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Have strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Pay close attention to detail and take pride in your work

  • Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Can operate under time pressure and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
