Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Location: Lansdale, PA

Reports To: Quality Control Manager

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Position Summary:

The Judge Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to support the Quality Control Manager in overseeing all aspects of food safety and quality assurance. This role ensures compliance with HACCP and food safety protocols, optimizes the use of personnel and equipment, and upholds the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

Must Haves:

• Food Manufacturing experience
• Must either have or willing to get HACCP certification.
• SQF trained is a huge plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Quality Control Technicians across multiple shifts.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and all federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
• Monitor and enforce food safety plans to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Act as a liaison between departments to maintain sanitation and quality standards.
• Serve as acting Quality Control Manager during absences.
• Fill in as a Quality Control Technician as needed to support operations.
• Assist in developing and implementing short- and long-term quality strategies and policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource optimization.
• Participate in cross-functional teams including Business Continuity, Recall, Food Defense, and HACCP.
• Support training and development initiatives to enhance food safety awareness and skills across the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• HACCP Certification required; SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, food safety, and plant sanitation.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing operations, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
