We are seeking a process-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have prior experience reviewing electrical drawings and will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by developing comprehensive project plans (including resource allocation, project schedules/timeline, and budgets), and following customer-specific project documentation as required. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical construction management and processes, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and suppliers. In order to perform essential job duties, candidate  must  meet federal requirements in order to obtain and maintain U.S Department of Energy (DOE) Q level security clearance.

Role Description

  • In order to perform essential job duties, candidate must meet federal requirements in order to obtain and maintain U.S Department of Energy (DOE) Q level security clearance.

This is an on-site, full-time role with a typical 4-10s workweek (Mon-Thurs). Overtime and weekend work may be necessary for some projects. Daily tasks will include managing project schedules, supervising staff, facilitating communication between stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving issues as they arise. The Project Manager will also be responsible for expediting materials, monitoring project progress, and conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regular commute to office and to job site in variable weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
