Now Hiring: Flavor Science Technician

Day Shift | Flexible start time (7:00–8:30 AM)

Starting at $22/hr — higher for highly qualified candidates

Are you passionate about food science, innovation, and hands-on lab work? We’re seeking a Flavor Science Technician to support a growing flavor science team through sample preparation, benchtop experiments, and sensory evaluations.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and excited about contributing to product development in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare batches for testing alternate ingredients and substitutions
• Conduct sensory evaluations (taste, smell, appearance)
• Use internal software systems for research, documentation, and sample shipments
• Assist with sample preparation, lab inventory, and ingredient management
• Perform basic testing, record results, and complete mathematical conversions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
• Support food safety practices and general plant safety
• Assist with related tasks and technical projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, Quality, or related scientific fields (preferred)
• 1+ years of lab technician experience (preferred)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
• Ability to identify subtle sensory differences
• Solid problem-solving skills and effective communication
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset
• Comfortable with general computer applications and data entry

• Combination of lab, office, and plant environments
• Includes standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and hands-on lab activities
