Job Title: Part-Time Parking Attendant
Department: Parking Operations
Reports To: Parking Supervisor(s)
Pay Rate: $23.25/ Hour
SUMMARY
The Part-Time Parking Attendant position will assist our guests and oversee our parking facilities during event days at Lumen Field. The ideal candidate for this role must have strong leadership and communication skills. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for extra hours during peak season. This position is event based; therefore, you will be scheduled to meet the demands of our Lumen Field event calendar.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet and assist customers with parking inquiries, provide directions to available spaces, as well as address concerns or complaints in a professional manner
  • The ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • Scan parking passes of employees and guests
  • Manage point of sale transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Direct traffic in and out of the garages and surface lot to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of vehicles
  • Regularly monitor traffic flow, anticipating and reducing congestion to avoid delays
  • Make regular rounds throughout the parking facility to ensure parking facilities meet safety and cleanliness protocols
  • Regularly check parking equipment and gates to ensure they are functioning properly. Report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for prompt repair
  • Ensure guests park in designated parking locations only. Provide guidance, ensuring compliance with parking rules and regulations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with using point of sale systems
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, high-energy environment

  • Required to adjust to fluctuating schedules and ability to work shifts with short notice
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to walk long distances between the Lumen Field garage and parking lot locations
  • This employee is frequently required to lift up to 20 pounds
  WEEKLY HOURS
  • 20 - 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during peak season. During the event season, parking attendants may be required to work beyond an eight-hour shift, as the demand for parking increases
