Job Description
This is an in person, Monday-Friday position at our Kenosha location 5021 Washington Rd Suite A, Kenosha, WI 53144
Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide high-quality care to patients by performing a wide range of medical services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical exams, prescribing medications, and managing patient care plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including illnesses, infections, and injuries.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with state regulations.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and prescriptions.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Advocate for patient needs and preferences, ensuring culturally competent care.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Stay current with advancements in medical practice through ongoing professional development and continuing education
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state
At least 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Experience in Oral Surgery is a plus.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Certifications:
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area (e.g., FNP, ANP, PNP).
BLS/ACLS certification required.
