The Opportunity
A Fortune 500 telecommunications company seeks a Network Permitting Specialist on a long-term, temporary basis for at least twelve months, possibly longer at one of these locations: Chandler, AZ; Houston, TX; Canonsburg, PA or Downers Grove, IL. The schedule is hybrid: Monday and Friday are WFH days; Tuesday through Thursday are in office. The hourly rate is from $40-$45, plus benefits.
Primary Duties
The Network Permitting Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting entitlement applications, permits, and agreements to support the installation of telecom infrastructure (e.g., fiber, poles, nodes) and acts as a liaison with local governments to ensure compliance with municipal processes, codes, and ordinances. In-depth knowledge of Section 6409 and Eligible Facility Requests (EFR) is mandatory . Additional duties include the following:
