Position Overview

This role is critical in managing all facets of Mortgage Servicing, including Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosures, and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with borrowers, investors, and real estate agents to process loss prevention options and develop strategies such as debt restructuring.
• Manage both outgoing and incoming collection calls and send relevant notices for collections, loss mitigation, and foreclosures.
• Handle all aspects of Loss Mitigation, offering alternatives to foreclosure for borrowers.
• Prepare and transmit required monthly reports to investors, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.
• Work with legal teams on foreclosure processes, including managing sheriff sales and maintaining foreclosure property security.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies and regulations, updating guidelines and procedures as needed.
• Complete all compliance-related training and maintain regular attendance.

Experience and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage banking or servicing preferred.
• Proficiency in mortgage technology platforms and strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

1-3 years of college education preferred.

Location: South Bend, IN (onsite)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Compensation: $15-23/hr, based on experience
