Mid-Level Corporate Attorney – Transactional Focus | Danbury, CT

A growing law firm in Danbury, Connecticut, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience in transactional and general counsel matters. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on mid-to-large scale deals while advising a broad spectrum of business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct due diligence and transaction support for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures

• Draft and negotiate agreements, including purchase, shareholder, and operating agreements

• Advise businesses on regulatory compliance, securities filings, and governance issues

• Oversee corporate structuring, formation, and capitalization initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, HR, and finance

• Provide outside general counsel services such as policy development and internal investigations

• Meet project deadlines and contribute to firm performance targets

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in corporate transactions or general counsel roles (law firm or in-house)

• Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut Bar

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

• Demonstrated success managing corporate transactions and regulatory matters

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client service skills

• Strong organizational and communication abilities
