As a Creative Marketing Specialist you will play a key role in shaping our brand and communications across print, digital, and social platforms. Responsibilities of the Creative Marketing Specialist:

  • Assists the Marketing Manager in implementing the overall marketing strategy and promotional plans.
  • Designs creative concepts and materials across print, digital, and web platforms, including reusable templates for staff.
  • Writes and edits engaging copy for marketing collateral, website, social media, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Supports the development of annual reports, resource toolkits, and other key projects.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Marketing Specialist to leverage social media for campaigns.
  • Provides design support for infographics, presentations, signage, publications, and more.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for graphic design needs across departments to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
  • Helps manage flagship campaigns by creating campaign-related graphics and promotional materials.
  • Coordinates with vendors and manages marketing for association’s Shop products, analyzing sales data and recommending improvements.
  • Produces and analyzes campaign reports, providing recommendations based on metrics and benchmarks.

Qualifications of the Creative Marketing Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field preferred (digital marketing certification a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or creative design; nonprofit or association experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Experience with WordPress, Constant Contact, and/or other email marketing platforms.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for diverse communications.
  • Demonstrated experience managing campaigns, creative projects, and brand assets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for working with staff, members, vendors, and sponsors.
  • Ability to analyze data and create actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and virtual platforms such as Zoom.
