Job Description

Title: Machine Operator - Production

Shift: Night shift

Hours: 6:20pm-6:30am

Schedule: This role is 12 Hour Night Shifts, Alternating Weekends

Location: Nebraska 68949

Overview:

  • Perform operations maintaining product quality and production levels.
  • Work as a team member for maximum effectiveness. Responsibilities include product inspection, operating equipment, raw material/finished goods movement and cleaning /sanitizing.
  • Monitor machine functions and attempt to detect any conditions that are or are becoming out of control.
  • Ensure compliance with Client’s quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and Client’s safety regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with Client’s quality systems, policies, procedures, and practices and all local, state, federal and Client’s safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):

  • Maintain equipment according to preventable maintenance schedule.
  • Clean machines and immediate work area.
  • Responsible for producing, visually inspect and package products.
  • Operate equipment and process functions.
  • Conduct inspections and perform process tests.
  • Understand and complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible to respond to and reset alarms as needed.
  • Sustain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members.
  • Responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Must maintain certification on equipment assigned.
  • Must maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Leader and required to support the needs of the business.
  • High speed manufacturing environment. Must remain alert and focused.
  • Obey all company policies, standards, and rules, including but not limited to:
  • Safety policies and rules (including lockout procedures).
  • Understand and apply Client’s standards and specs to ensure all products are produced to Client’s standards.

Basic qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

  • Good interpersonal skills
