We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA As a Locum CRNA specializing in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures. This position is vital to ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgeries, labor and delivery, and other medical treatments. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a dynamic healthcare environment, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in the management of pain relief during labor and delivery.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and medications.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and protocols in anesthesia practice.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
• Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
• Proven experience working as a CRNA in anesthesiology.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week

Call Requirement: 1 weekday per week, 1 weekend per month

Daily Volume: 5-20 cases

Required Skills & Procedures: Spinals, OB, epidurals, endoscopy, peripheral nerve blocks, US-guided procedures

Case Types: Ortho, general, podiatry, ENT, healthy peds, urology, OB/GYN, endoscopy; no heads, hearts, or spines

5 ORs, cysto suite, endo suite

Support Staff: 1 MD, 4 CRNAs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
