Job Description

Our client is searching for a HRIS Administrator for their headquarters located in Northwest Houston. This position is part of the Payroll and Benefits team and is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the HRIS software and other related HR systems. Additional duties include managing and processing employee data, generating reports, and ensuring data systems are compliant with regulations. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 per year.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with overseeing and maintaining the ideal function of the HRIS, which includes installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules, including Dayforce, Paradox, and Wrike, among other systems. The primary focus will be on the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assist with managing permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Build reports within the HRIS platform for users to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and ensure data integrity.
  • Build processes and projects for end users within the project management software while maintaining ease and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
  • Serve as a representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Work together with HRIS team and IT Analysts to ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of HRIS experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience with Dayforce, Paradox or Wrike is a plus.
  • Skilled in managing, analyzing, and reporting data using tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - can adjust communication to the level of the listener when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, prioritize and meet tight deadlines as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
