Job Description

Atlantic Electric, LLC is a South Carolina based electrical contractor specializing in airfield lighting, specialized commercial, water and wastewater plants throughout the Southeast. We are seeking   experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. This is a full time, non-traveling position located in the Charleston, SC area. 

Duties:

• Assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on diverse projects.
• Operate Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Perform work with hand tools as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of operating experience of large Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
• Knowledge of Ductbank installation.
• Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments.
• Ability to dig trenches by use of hand tools and equipment.
• Must be able to pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Atlantic Electric conducts pre-employment, post-accident, and random testing.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
