Reports to: Design Manager / Art Director
The Clever Factory is a privately owned consumer products company that designs innovative books, educational products, games, stationery, and gift bags for mass market retailers, with its headquarters located in Nashville, Tennessee.
We are looking for driven and talented Graphic Designers to join our creative team! Our office provides a collaborative creative work environment where graphic designers are given the opportunity to develop products from concept to production in partnership with our product team.
Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years of graphic design experience and a strong fundamental design background specializing in creative project management, typography, illustration, trend research, surface patterns, packaging design, and strong layout skills.
Work experience must be from a professional design studio or product development company. If you have designed and managed projects from concept to production, are detail-oriented, a strong multi-tasker, creative designer and thinker, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities
· Candidate will be responsible for taking designs from conceptualization to implementation
· Must be able to organize, delegate and create presentations for various clients.
· Good at multi-tasking
· Work with the team leader to communicate daily objectives to other graphic designers and facilitate the workload.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts or Illustration
· 3-5-plus years of experience at a creative design house
· Proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite software
· Must have an outstanding design portfolio
· Originality - able to create original and unique prints and surface designs
· Communication - able to interpret design briefs and communicate clear direction to design team members
· Trend Identification and Application - be aware of current trends within all industry areas and be able to translate into gift product designs
· Team Player - performs well under pressure in a team environment.
· Location - This role is a hybrid full-time position based Nashville Tennessee
