Core Purpose of the Role
To ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of Small Cell asset data across various systems, especially the Network Records Systems (NRS) and GIS tools. The role also supports the field and engineering teams by making sure the data reflects the real-world network.
What the Ideal Candidate Will Do
Manage and analyze Small Cell data: Maintain accurate records of equipment, locations, and network connections using NRS and GIS platforms.
Ensure data accuracy: Conduct quality checks, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve data issues.
Support other teams: Help engineering, field ops, NOC, and other internal teams by providing accurate records, maps, and data insights.
Work with construction drawings: Understand engineering plans and use them to update asset records accurately.
Respond to tickets/work orders: Resolve data-related requests and provide reports/maps promptly.
Participate in projects: Lead or contribute to data cleanup, system integration, or client-driven initiatives.
Skills & Tools They Want
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience or quick learning ability with GIS platforms like QGIS or ArcGIS
Familiarity with telecom asset databases (especially NRS)
Understanding of telecom infrastructure, especially Small Cell and pole attachments
Ability to interpret construction drawings
Bonus: Experience in 1.0 process (likely internal terminology for documentation or workflow)
Background They Prefer
Education in GIS, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Accounting
1–5 years of relevant experience with:
Asset databases/NRS
GIS tools
Reviewing construction drawings and working with telecom records
