🧰 About the Role

We’re hiring a Field Service Engineer to support our cutting-edge medical diagnostic and imaging equipment across hospitals and clinics in your territory. You'll deliver on-site installations, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance while serving as a trusted technical advisor to clinical staff.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Perform field service including repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of imaging/diagnostic systems
• Lead equipment installations and provide customer training when required
• Use calibration tools and software to ensure proper equipment functionality
• Maintain inventory, tools, and service documentation with attention to detail
• Collaborate with service teams to support invoicing, sales lead generation, and contract conversions
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols , especially in sensitive medical environments
• Travel extensively (up to 75%) within the assigned region

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related (or military equivalent training)
• 2+ years of field service or biomedical engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of electronics, electromechanics, diagnostics, and PLCs
• Solid communication and customer-facing skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and diagnostic software

💡 Preferred

• Experience with X-ray, MRI, or surgical navigation systems
• Knowledge of PACS, DICOM , or hospital IT infrastructure
• Prior experience in a high-travel , self-directed service role
• Resides within the Twin Cities metro area
