Happy Egg is looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to help support the day-to-day operations of our one-of-a-kind farm focused on heritage breed birds. This is a full-time, hourly position.
This job is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, doesn’t mind getting dirty, and is committed to doing a great job every day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Performing general farm labor, including grounds and barn maintenance
• Operating and helping maintain farm equipment and machinery
• Assisting with artificial insemination (training provided)
• Monitoring the health and condition of the birds
• Helping with environmental and health testing (basic math skills helpful)
• Keeping daily records of farm activities
• Following all safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare policies
• Working occasional weekends and holidays as needed
Good to Know:
• This is an hourly, full-time position
• Work schedule may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• We value a strong work ethic over formal education
• A pre-employment drug screen is required
