Family Medicine Physician

Salary Range: $220,000 – $235,000 annually + up to $120,000 signing bonus for select applicants

Requirements to Apply

  • Valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (or related specialty)
  • Medical Doctor (MD or DO) with 3–5 years of directly related experience, including residency
  • Current DEA registration for prescribing authority
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience managing a primary care patient panel
  • Epic Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired
  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health setting preferred

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our collaborative and mission-driven team in San Rafael, California. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves a diverse community with excellence, empathy, and integrity.

As a Physician, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. You’ll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values quality, continuity, and accessibility, empowering you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients every day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed
  • Utilize Epic EHR to document and track patient care
  • Adhere to evidence-based standards and organizational clinical policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care models
  • Collaborate with other medical, behavioral health, and dental providers to deliver integrated services
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines
