We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee our sanitation, custodial, waste/recycling, and facility support teams. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment across our production operations.

As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise Staff: Prioritize and assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure staff is trained, and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
• Implement Cleaning Protocols: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct Inspections: Regularly assess cleanliness, safety, and compliance with environmental regulations; identify areas for improvement.
• Train Staff: Provide training on proper cleaning techniques, waste management, and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with production, maintenance, and other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to health and safety initiatives.
• Prepare Reports: Document results, maintain accurate records of work performed, waste management, and staff performance; collaborate with management to develop improvement activities.
• Oversee Waste and Recycling Programs: Manage proper disposal, recycling, and sustainability efforts in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain Cleaning Supplies and Equipment: Monitor inventory of tools and materials; request replenishments as needed.
• Supervise Teams: Oversee custodial services, waste and recycling, pallet repair, porters, and sanitation teams.
• Ensure Safety and Quality: Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

What You Need to Succeed

✔ 1-3 years of supervisory experience in environmental services, sanitation, custodial, or facilities management (preferred in manufacturing/food production).

✔ Strong leadership and communication skills.

✔ Ability to train and motivate diverse teams.

✔ Knowledge of waste management, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

✔ Organizational and problem-solving skills.

✔ Ability to work in cold, wet, and noisy environments (34-36°F).

✔ Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
