🔹 Position Overview:

Take the helm of the Social Services Department, overseeing all administrative and clinical operations. Provide strategic direction, foster a collaborative work environment, and ensure continuous quality improvement while maintaining full regulatory compliance. Lead a dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting recovery and reintegration into the community.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, organize, and manage all Social Services Department operations
• Oversee clinical practices, departmental staffing, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Cultivate community partnerships and maintain strong relationships with local agencies
• Serve as an expert on legal/conservatorship systems and provide ongoing staff training
• Coordinate Utilization Review Committee and support intern development and supervision
• Drive quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting alongside senior leadership
• Support discharge planning and community reintegration of individuals served

🔹 Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of direct service experience working with individuals with mental illness
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a mental health inpatient or outpatient setting
• Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field
• Current, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California
