In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of electrical engineering, mission-critical reliability, and cutting-edge sustainability to shape scalable, high-density environments that power AI and enterprise workloads around the globe. If you're passionate about engineering excellence and want to leave your mark on some of the most advanced digital infrastructure projects in the world, we want to hear from you.

  • Develop and continuously improve engineering standards, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistency and scalability across the portfolio.
  • Review and approve technical deliverables, such as electrical schematics, equipment submittals, and commissioning reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage coordination efforts with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules and quality metrics.
  • Lead and participate in on-site inspections and design coordination meetings to validate construction quality and adherence to design intent.
  • Drive the creation and deployment of future-ready electrical design frameworks in support of EdgeCore’s growth and innovation roadmap.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Development, Operations, Procurement, and Sales—to deliver holistic engineering solutions aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Contribute to new product development and innovation initiatives that advance EdgeCore’s competitive edge in the data center space.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and evolving organizational priorities.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in electrical design and construction, with at least 5 years in mission-critical or data center environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of data center electrical and HVAC systems, including power distribution, redundancy architectures, and high-efficiency cooling technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex design projects from concept to commissioning, balancing technical depth with practical execution.
  • Deep familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, including NEC, NERC, NFPA, IEEE, and local building regulations.
  • Strong understanding of North American construction practices and engineering market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed technical assessments and feasibility studies using data-driven methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across diverse teams and with external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant engineering platforms.
