Job Description

We’re seeking a Rule Analyst / Data Quality SME to help HP ensure its data is clean, reliable, and ready for business use. You’ll be responsible for designing audit rules, analyzing data patterns, and documenting rule logic. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business users by translating domain knowledge into automated quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Profile and analyze data to detect anomalies and trends.
• Design and implement fixed and dynamic data quality rules.
• Use SQL and HiveQL to validate rule outputs.
• Document rule metadata including logic, thresholds, and ownership.
• Map business logic into technical specifications.
• Manage rule versions using YAML/JSON best practices.
