Dairy Farm Assistant Herdsperson position available immediately for a person interested in working on a 1500+ adult Registered Holstein Herd and 1500+ calve/heifer dairy farm in Western New York State. Primary responsibilities include care of fresh and sick cows on a daily basis along with vet checks, vaccinations, caring for lame cows, reproduction shots, and group moves. Report directly to a Herd Manager with outstanding credentials willing to train you on the most contemporary aspects of working with a large herd. Candidates with RECENT experience and the ability to speak Dairy Spanish will be given first priority. Salary competitive. Housing possible depending on needs. Health insurance cost shared by farm.
