Overview: 

The Corporate Security Associate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees, visitors, and associated properties at various corporate locations through strict access control, video surveillance, and diligent active patrol.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of all employees, visitors, and designated areas.
  • Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures.
  • Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
  • Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
  • Accurately enter, track, and update incidents within the company's case management system.
  • Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges).
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
  • Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have.
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
  • Monitor alarms and security cameras.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to prepare reports, maintain logs, and communicate with internal departments.
  • Regularly check and respond to communications via Outlook to ensure timely coordination with team members and leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Familiarity with case management systems or the ability to learn and adapt to company-specific security software.


Physical Demands:

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • Additional hours may be required during October, November, and December, and other peak periods.
  • May require working at heights of 8 feet or greater.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs.
