Job Description The Reality Labs Art Organization brings together experts to pioneer the future of social, virtual, and augmented reality applications. Reality Labs is currently seeking a Concept Artist to help build and scale our Economy Art team and its related experiences across our portfolio of products. Concept Artist Responsibilities Execute concept art for Economy, fitting into the artistic strategy created by the Art Director and Creative Director Craft clear, appealing, and emotive concepts that represent a global audience Collaborate with Art Directors, Technical Art Leads, Animation Leads, and other cross-functional partners to design, produce, and direct the quality of final produced assets Provide artistic direction and high production standard in the creation of high-quality promotional content Collaborate on the creation of style guides and related materials for internal and external teams Create three-dimensional assets supporting Economy deliverable efforts Forge partnerships with external vendors to scale up production We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of industry experience in games or other three-dimensional media Proficient in industry-standard art tools such as Photoshop, Maya, Blender, Modo, Zbrush, or similar Experience and hands-on working knowledge of character-based art processes and two-dimensional/three-dimensional production pipelines Experience leading and pitching artistic projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams Hands-on concept development experience High-craft concept art displaying a knack for fashion, storytelling, and character appeal Experience operating in a fast iteration environment, and a commitment to high artistic quality Functional knowledge of 3D character art tools Knowledgeable about current fashion trends and previous experience designing content for fashion brands Rendering skills via Digital Content Creation Industry leader in their area of specialization Previous experience designing and producing content for avatars Virtual Reality development experience a plus null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
