Clinical Scientist

6-month contract

Onsite in Pomona, CA

We are seeking an experienced Chemist or Toxicologist to join our Analytical Chemistry group in Pomona. This role is ideal for a hands-on scientist with a strong background in LCMS method development and validation for drug testing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop LCMS test methods for drugs of abuse detection in oral fluid and urine samples
• Perform test method characterization (TMC) and validation (TMV) for LCMS-based product release of calibrators and controls
• Support assays used with clinical chemistry analyzers, some of which are 510(k) cleared

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience in LCMS method development and validation
• Proficiency in sample preparation techniques such as solid phase extraction and filtration
• Strong bench skills, including accurate pipetting
• Familiarity with Shimadzu LCMS systems

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge of Shimadzu LCMS instruments
• Experience with Hamilton liquid handlers (STAR, STARlet, or Nimbus)
• Use of DPX Tips for sample preparation
• Experience in FDA-regulated laboratory environments
